The puppies are now 17 day old. their eyes started opening 3 days ago, now all have wide open eyes. there are about 4 of them that can actually bark now also

Here is a puppy update 8 days into life, getting cuter and stronger by the minute!

Newly born
My wifes hobby... golden doodles and poodles has grown to epic proportions!!!
The proud mama "Marley",
She chose to give birth in the master bath tub!! I made a special "whelping room", with a nice whelping box. This room was directly connected to her kennel.
Its like she knew enough to go to the tub because it would clean up easier, and we would be right there handy, in case of some complication. There were no complications, but just in case.
she is an F1 Golden Doodle her mother was a pure bred Golden Retriever, her father a pure bred standard Poodle. These dogs have the friendly attitude of the golden, and the "no shedding" characteristic of the Poodle. She is a super good dog. There are 4 children, my wife and I in our household and Marley is great around all, even the cat, the other dogs, and our bird!

The litter consisted of a total of 8 puppies. 4 cream colored, and 4 black colored ones. 1 male of each color!
